Overview
This multidisciplinary conference will address care of the medically complex pregnant patient. We aim to equip obstetric providers with tools to identify conditions and provide management options to help reduce or prevent complications. Topics will consist of the current trends including updated cardiovascular classifications including NSTEMI and arrhythmias, accreta spectrum, post-partum hemorrhage, risks associated with multiples, diabetes, sepsis, genetic testing and more.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. recognize physiologic changes that occur for the presented OB complications.
  2. identify genetic screening options and next steps for patients with aneuploidy risks in pregnancy.
  3. identify steps in the management of a postpartum hemorrhage.
  4. recognize and outline management of sepsis.
