Allina Antimicrobial Stewardship Summit 2026 - From Microbiome to Microbiology: Rethinking How We Diagnose, Prevent and Treat Infections

The 3rd Annual Allina Antimicrobial Stewardship Summit is designed to advance a more integrated, microbiome- and microbiology-informed approach to infectious diseases by equipping clinicians with practical strategies to improve diagnostic evaluation, optimize antimicrobial use, and enhance patient outcomes across the continuum of care.

Physicians interested in claiming ABIM MOC must complete a quiz & evaluation following the activity in CloudCME.  You will have 2-weeks to successfully claim.    

1. Apply microbiome and microbiology informed stewardship principles to optimize diagnostic testing and antimicrobial selection, dosing, and duration across diverse clinical settings.
2. Evaluate and incorporate diagnostic stewardship and local microbiologic data to support more targeted, evidence-based treatment decisions.
3. Implement practical, case based stewardship approaches by applying evidence based principles and interdisciplinary strategies to real world patient scenarios, including complex clinical dilemmas and the incorporation of novel and emerging antimicrobial therapies to optimize patient outcomes.

Pre-registration is required for in-person or virtual option and is free for all Allina employees.   

• Virtual attendees will receive teams link 1-week prior to the summit.  

• In Person attendees please note that lunch for this activity is on your own. 

To maintain a comfortable and engaging environment, attendance may be limited; early registration is strongly encouraged.

Registration will close at midnight on Tuesday, November 10th, or earlier if capacity is reached.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received in writing no less than 10 days prior to the course start date are eligible for a full refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the 10-day deadline. If an emergency arises after the activity syllabus or presentation materials have been made available to you, a 50% refund will be granted. All cancellation requests must be sent to [email protected].

Allina Health reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
